Jessica Feigenbaum, a soprano born in Rockland County, New York, has finally returned to her home state after seven years and two degrees from Indiana University Jacobs School of Music.  As a student, Jessica was a recipient of the Music Merit Grant and Dean’s Scholarship and performed in nine operas with the Indiana University Opera Theater.  Under the tutelage of the great soprano, Carol Vaness,and the  acclaimed vocal pedagog, Paul Kiesgen, Jessica worked with the Bloomington Orchestra as well as several university student orchestras.  Jessica has performed vocal recitals both nationally and internationally.  She performed several recitals at the Palais Corbelli in Vienna, Austria, in 2007.  In December 2010, Jessica performed the role of Mimi in La Boheme with Hubbard Hall Opera.  She was also a young artist at the Hubbard Hall Opera Theater in 2009 where she performed the rolTraviata_cutain_calle of Micaela in La Tragédie de Carmen. In February 2009, Jessica was a finalist in the Y.E.S. Foundation for the Arts vocal competition in San Francisco, California.  A performer of many genres, Jessica is also an active jazz and pop singer.  Jessica enjoyed teaching a thriving voice studio in Bloomington, Indiana, and cannot wait to grow a new studio with the Music School of New York City.
